Williams played the role of Eve Barrett, a swimsuit designer in the film. Red Skelton played the role of Jack Spratt, a masseuse who falls in love with Eve's sister Betty at a polo club, and who poses as the Latin polo star Jose O'Rourke (Ricardo Montalbán) in order to gain her affection.
