DescriptionSilver toast rack from Victorian steamer, HMVSS LADY LOCH. This toast rack would have been used in the officer’s mess. LADY LOCH was the steamer in use before the Commonwealth took over ownership of the lighthouses in 1915. Ownership of the LADY LOCH would have been transferred or bought for a nominal amount, to the Commonwealth Lighthouse Service.
