DescriptionA large wooden spirit level used in woodworking. This spirit level has a horizontal (level) and a vertical (plumb) measure. The horizontal level has a brass plate fitted over it which is marked with STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. NEW BRITAIN CONN USA and
PAT 6-2 6-23-96. The brass plate also has level lines scored into it. Alfred Luther Lake has also inscribed L.LAKE into every side of the wood.
The body of the level has two longitudinal grooves that have been cut as a hand hold, while the plumb level is set into a bevelled circular cut out. Either end of the level is secured with brass.
