    DescriptionSet of scales; maker unknown. Used by the chief engineer on the burrumbeet, circa1880s or 1890s. Metal, brass and string, consists of two brass pans, each pan has three holes through which three pieces of string are attached meeting at a common point on either side of a horizontal metallic bridge.
