Description‘FEDERAL and LOUISA LAMONT wrecks’ and ‘The Federal Wreck’ Newspaper Clippings. Two newspaper clippings from ‘The Age’ dated 18th of April 1901, attached onto a feint ruled sheet of paper. The first newspaper clipping is titled ‘The Federal and Louisa Lamont wrecks’ discusses a meeting that was held by a committee established to collect a relief fund for the dependants of the late crews. The second newspaper clipping titled ‘The Federal Wreck’, which discussed the identification of two bodies as Murdoch Fraser, and Harry Wight, two sailors from the SS FEDERAL.
