SignificanceSwim wear was synonymous with Hollywood glamour in the 1930s and Hollywood celebrities were often featured in swim suits for publicity shoots. In this instance, it was part of the chorus line for Bing Crosby's 1936 film 'Anything Goes'. A larger version of this shot was used in promotional posters for the film.
