BiographyHarry Hudson Rodmell was a British artist who worked in oils, watercolours, pen and ink on every type of marine subject. He illustrated for many magazines including 'The Graphic' and 'Sphere' and was well regarded as a poster artist. Rodmell produced work for a large number of shipping companies and often worked from shipping plans in order to understand the technical aspects of the vessels he depicted. He exhibited in London and Paris and examples of his work are held by the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.
