DescriptionCaricature of a waterside worker 'Glass Arm Harry' (a waterside worker who avoids heavy work) by Harry Reade. The cut-out drawing was produced for the Waterside Workers Federation Film Unit and designed to be used in a partially animated film entitled, 'Four's a Crowd'.History'Four's A Crowd' is a 14 minute black and white film that is a mix of live action and animation featuring four different 'types' of wharf workers. Waterside workers were often criticised in the media and Waterside Workers Federation members were often portrayed in the worst light and being too willing to strike. Other characters in the film include 'Tiddly Pete', 'Nick-away Ned' and 'Ron the Roaster'.
