Wharf worker and artist Harry Reade designed and drew the foreground figures and Clem Millward, fellow worker and artist, painted the staic background panels. History'Click Go the Shears' was the second animated film in the "Land of Australia" series, this film was produced produced by Jock Levy, Keith Gow, Norma Disher of the Waterside Workers Federation Film Unit.
