It features starboard and aft plans of a ship's stern. The first details the aft view, including the middle line, berthing, bevelling edge, floor marks, sill marks, sirmarks, futtock heads and futtock lines. The second details the side and overhead views of the stern, including level lines, sills and breadths.
SignificanceThis engraving comes from the first edition of the separate book issue of Creuze's highly influential article on naval architecture.
